Let me not to the marriage of true minds
Admit impediments, love is not love
Which alters when it alteration finds,
Or bends with the remover to remove.
O no, it is an ever-fixed mark
That looks on tempests and is never shaken;
It is the star to every wand'ring bark,
Whose worth's unknown, although his height be taken.
Love's not Time's fool, though rosy lips and cheeks Within his bending sickle's compass come,
Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks,
But bears it out even to the edge of doom:
If this be error and upon me proved,
I never writ, nor no man ever loved.
Sonnet #116. - William Shakespeare
...these are the words that i wrote down on a simple page of
notebook paper the day jen and i "began." February 3, 2003. it was her
birthday and i had forgotten to get her anything. so i wrote this down and
rapped it around my coveted back of pistachios and wished her a happy birthday.
the reason this is al relevant is that this all took place... 50 months ago
today. wow, yeah i know, i'm hopeless... i love you jennfa.

paradigm - all together separate
Everybody loves
a rose,
But will you be thankful for the thorns?
Love is easy when you're loved,
But do you curse another when you're alone?
Chorus:
Oh, I give my life to You
so I can gain it back again
Oh, I stand solid
while the paradigm is shifting
You say live and
let live,
But people are dying everyday
And you say what I don't know won't hurt me
But if what I do not know
is the very thing I need,
then I say...
Humanity sees truth
through a shattered window pane
That blocks the view,
And plants the seed
So we draw the curtains to close but I say
That the sun can still shine
behind a closed mind
And sticks and stones do hurt
When tossed from the tongue of mankind http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=elSiQk6KzCM&mode=related&search=
